Bundle IQ connects verified vendors with buyers who have live procurement requirements. You don't find the work โ the work finds you, matched to your categories, geography, and capacity. Every brief is fully specified before you see it: scope, budget, evaluation criteria, and deadline are all visible upfront.
1
Buyer submits a requirement
A buyer describes what they need. IQ benchmarks the market, selects a procurement route, and invites matched vendors.
2
You receive an invitation
You get a notification with the brief, budget range, and deadline. You see your IQ match score before deciding whether to respond.
Only respond if you can genuinely deliver. A strong no is better than a weak yes.
3
You submit a response
Your response is scored by IQ in real time. You see your score as you write โ so you know where you stand before submitting.
4
IQ ranks all responses
Every vendor's response is scored on the same criteria. The buyer sees a ranked shortlist with IQ's recommendation and the reasoning behind each score.
5
Award, contract, deliver, get paid
If selected, IQ generates the contract. Both parties sign digitally. You deliver. The buyer confirms each milestone. Payment releases to you within 24 hours.
Section 2
How you get matched to tenders
IQ matches tenders to your profile based on four factors. The better your profile, the better your matches.
๐
Categories
The spend categories you've registered for. Be specific โ "IT & Technology" is too broad. "Managed IT Support", "Cybersecurity", and "Cloud Infrastructure" are better. You appear in more relevant searches and fewer irrelevant ones.
๐
Geography
Where you can deliver. Be accurate. If you cover the whole UK, say so. If you're London-only, say that. Inflating your geography leads to matches you can't fulfil โ which hurts your Trust Score.
๐ฐ
Contract size
The minimum and maximum contract values you're configured to handle. A ยฃ500k ITT is a bad match for a two-person consultancy. A ยฃ5,000 quick quote is a bad match for a large firm. Set your range honestly.
โญ
Trust Score
Higher-scoring vendors get priority matching on competitive requirements. New vendors receive standard matching. Trust Score builds with successful contracts.
๐ก
Keep your profile current. Expired insurance, outdated certifications, or stale case studies reduce your match quality and your IQ Score. Set a calendar reminder to review your profile quarterly.
Section 3
What IQ scores โ and how
IQ evaluates every response on four criteria. The weighting for each requirement is shown in the brief โ buyers can adjust defaults. Here's what IQ assesses under each criterion and how to maximise your score.
Default scoring weights
Price
40%
Total cost vs market benchmark. Not just headline rate.
Technical capability
30%
Can you actually deliver the stated scope and SLAs?
Experience
20%
Track record in this sector and at this contract size.
Compliance
10%
Insurance, certifications, GDPR. Missing = zero on this criterion.
What IQ actually looks for under each criterion
ยฃ
Price (40%)
IQ compares your total cost against the market benchmark range it calculated before tendering. Being 15% below benchmark scores well. Being 40% above it scores poorly โ even if your quality is high. IQ also looks at the structure: a fixed all-inclusive price scores better than an hourly rate with unspecified extras.
Give a fixed or clearly-bounded price. Vague pricing ("from ยฃX") scores lower than specific pricing.
โ
Technical capability (30%)
IQ checks your stated capabilities against the requirement's SLAs and scope. If the buyer needs 4-hour on-site response and you only offer remote support, IQ flags this and scores the criterion accordingly. If you meet or exceed every SLA, you score full marks here regardless of price.
Address every SLA in the brief explicitly. Don't assume IQ will infer you can meet something if you don't state it.
โ
Experience (20%)
IQ looks at: relevant case studies in the same sector, comparable contract size, buyer ratings from previous Bundle IQ contracts, and years of operation in the category. Three strong case studies in the same sector as the buyer score significantly higher than generic experience.
When describing experience, name the sector, approximate contract size, and outcome. "We delivered managed IT for a 60-person professional services firm in London" is ten times better than "we have extensive IT experience".
โ
Compliance (10%)
This is pass/fail on hard requirements. If the buyer specifies ISO 27001 and you don't have it, you score zero on compliance โ and likely lose the bid regardless of price. If you meet all requirements, this is a free 10 points.
Keep your certifications up to date on your profile. IQ reads your profile data, not just your response text.
Section 4
Writing winning responses
What wins bids
Address every SLA and requirement explicitly โ don't assume
Give a fixed, all-inclusive price with clear scope boundaries
Name comparable clients and outcomes โ sector and scale matter
Confirm compliance with every stated requirement
Propose realistic, specific milestones tied to deliverables
Explain your methodology โ how will you deliver, not just that you will
Mention any value-add beyond the stated scope that's included
What loses bids
Generic response text that doesn't mention the specific requirement
Hourly rates with no ceiling or project estimate
Vague experience claims ("extensive track record in IT")
Failing to mention required certifications โ IQ won't assume you have them
Responses that are clearly copy-pasted from another bid
Bidding low with intent to renegotiate after award โ IQ flags price anomalies
Not responding to the brief's specific questions or evaluation criteria
โ ๏ธ
Your IQ Score updates as you write. If your score is below 70 before submitting, review the criteria that are dragging it down. A low compliance score usually means a missing certification. A low capability score means you haven't addressed a specific SLA. Fix those before submitting.
Section 5
How and when you get paid
Payment on Bundle IQ is designed to be fast and predictable. You should never have to chase an invoice or wait for a BACS run.
๐
Contract executed
Both parties sign. You receive a copy. The buyer's first milestone payment is placed into IQ Protection escrow. You can see the funds are held.
๐
Funds in escrow
The money exists and is protected. It can't be recalled by the buyer without a dispute process. This is your assurance before you start work.
๐๏ธ
You deliver the milestone
Complete the deliverable, submit evidence via the platform, and mark the milestone as ready for review. The buyer is notified.
โ
Buyer confirms
The buyer confirms the milestone is complete. This triggers the escrow release.
๐
You receive payment โ within 24 hours
The net payment (contract value minus Bundle IQ fee) transfers to your registered bank account. You receive a remittance notification.
๐ก
What if the buyer doesn't confirm? If a buyer doesn't confirm a completed milestone within 10 business days, Bundle IQ contacts them. If they still don't respond, we open a case. You submit evidence, we review, and we make a determination. You are protected โ funds don't disappear.
Section 6
Your Trust Score
Your Trust Score (0โ100) is visible to buyers when evaluating responses. It's built from your completed contracts on the platform and affects the quality of tenders you're matched to.
โ
What increases your Trust Score
Completed contracts with 4+ star buyer ratings ยท On-time milestone delivery ยท High IQ scores on awarded responses ยท Keeping profile and compliance documents current ยท Prompt response to buyer messages
โ
What decreases your Trust Score
Buyer ratings below 3 stars ยท Late or incomplete milestone delivery ยท Upheld buyer complaints ยท Slow response to messages ยท Lapsed insurance or certifications ยท Submitting and then withdrawing responses
New vendors start with a Trust Score of 60 (neutral). The fastest way to build it is to take on well-matched, smaller contracts first โ deliver them well, get rated, repeat.
Section 7
Disputes and your protections
You have protections as a vendor on Bundle IQ. The escrow model means you can't be simply not paid. The dispute process is structured and fair.
1
Raise it through the platform first
If a buyer disputes your milestone, respond through the messaging system with your evidence. Most issues resolve at this stage. Document everything โ timestamped messages are your evidence.
2
Submit evidence if it escalates
If the dispute is formally raised, submit your delivery evidence: reports, sign-offs, access logs, photos, email confirmations โ whatever proves the work was done to the agreed standard.
3
Bundle IQ case review
A Bundle IQ case manager reviews both sides within 5 business days and makes a determination. This is binding for disputes under ยฃ25,000.
โ ๏ธ
Prevention is better than cure. The most common dispute trigger is scope ambiguity โ the buyer expected something that wasn't explicitly in the contract. Before you start work, make sure the SOW is specific enough that "complete" is objectively definable. If something is unclear, raise it before you start, not after.
Section 8
Common questions
Nothing. Joining Bundle IQ is free. You pay a 2.5% fee (deducted from payment) only when you win and complete a contract. There are no monthly fees, no listing fees, and no charge for submitting responses.
There's no limit on responses. However, we recommend being selective โ submitting strong responses to well-matched requirements rather than responding to everything. Your IQ Score on submitted responses is part of your profile quality signal.
Yes. After a bid is awarded, non-winning vendors receive a feedback summary showing their score breakdown compared to the winning score (anonymised). You'll see which criteria you scored lower on and why. This is one of the most useful features for improving future bids.
Any scope changes must be agreed as a formal change order through the platform. This creates a new document, adjusts the contract value, and updates the milestone schedule. You are not obliged to accept scope changes at the original price. Raise any change requests through the platform โ verbal or email agreements outside the platform are not contractually binding.
Yes โ you can invite existing clients to use Bundle IQ for their procurement. If they sign up through your referral link and award a contract to you, the normal fee applies. The benefit to you is structured contracts, protected payments, and a formal track record. The benefit to them is market benchmarking, IQ analysis, and escrow protection.
